Yellowstone Updates

Snowmobiling is a wonderful and totally unique way to experience Yellowstone in the winter. Technology allows us to have that experience and minimize impacts. Guides ensure compliance with all Park Service rules. Just like in Canyonlands and Lake Powell, The BlueRibbon Coalition (BRC) fights to protect snowmobiling in Yellowstone because it’s the right thing to do. This section contains alerts and articles specific to Yellowstone National Park.

To keep abreast of what’s happening with Yellowstone and the snowmobile issues as well as issues in the area where you live and/or recreate, sign up for any of our lists by clicking on the Subscribe icon on the left. We will notify you of pending legislation, national forest planning and other issues of interest to you. NOTE: National alerts will be sent to all Action Alert subscribers, even if you have selected to only receive alerts for your state.
