In the midst of all the challenges with trails we hear about every day, here’s a positive event that happened last weekend in Washington State. The Washington ATV Association (WAATVA) made a short video about the event (see below).
Clay Copeland, a spokesperson for the Washington state organization, tells us that, "WAATVA was excited to be able and participate in the 9th annual Great Gravel Pack In on March 29th, 2014. The Great Gravel Pack-In has become an annual tradition that showcases and celebrates the value of volunteers and importance of cooperative efforts. This year, volunteers helped spread gravel and repair damaged sections of trails in Capitol State Forest. The event is coordinated by the Washington State Department of Natural Resources and involved both motorized, and non-motorized users."
