NAXJA DONATES $5000 TO BRC FOR LAND USE BATTLES

NAXJA Donates $5000 To BRC For Land Use Battles

‬NAXJA is getting ready to enter its 15th year of incorporation as one of the premier internet based XJ/MJ clubs.  More than just a forum of users, NAXJA is a club that has several thousand users, over 800 paid members, several supporting members, and many vendors that have supported us over the years.

Many NAXJA members have just returned from Moab, Utah where we had our 3rd National Event celebrating the introduction of the XJ in 1983.  The event, aptly named the 30th anniversary event continued traditions from past events in 2003 and 2008.  At the event we had members from all over the country including a member from Austria in attendance.  With nearly 100 rigs at the event, we celebrated by giving away a 1999 Jeep Cherokee loaded with many items from vendors from all over the industry.  A check for $5000 was presented to the BlueRibbon Coalition at the 17th annual North American Motorized Recreation Council (NAMRC) meeting held on November 4th, 2013.  This is a continued storyline for NAXJA in supporting land use over the course of our history.

ATTENTION! -- The BlueRibbon Coalition (BRC) requests your support for our fourth annual Silent Auction at the Reno Off-Road & Motorsports Expo, March 20-22, 2015 in Reno, NV.  This Auction replaces BRC’s previous Christmas Auction that was used as a primary fund-raiser for trails. Please consider a product donation to help make this a successful event to help keep outdoor sports alive and well, nationwide; all sports; all trails. The last couple of years have been very successful, and this year BRC would like to rock the records -- with your help!!

As BRC continues to review the draft plan with our legal counsel, legislators, and local users, it is our initial opinion that this proposal, unless modified, will have a significant impact on historic dispersed OHV recreation, the functional elimination of competitive motorized events, and the closure of virtually all OHV use of sand wash-based trails.
