Off-road motorcycle racing legend Shane Watts and his worldwide, highly acclaimed DirtWise Academy of Offroad Riding schools and Instructional DVDs continue to help support the battle against off-road trail closures with another significant donation of $1000 to the BlueRibbon Coalition (BRC).

"The closure of land and trail access to off-road recreationalists across the US is a huge issue currently and this should be at the forefront of all enthusiasts' thoughts," enthused Watts. "I will always want in the future to have the opportunity to ride the remaining amount of the existing trails that are out there, so I believe that it is extremely important that not only we at DirtWise, but also all enthusiasts, contribute to this fight against the anti-access groups and their well-funded campaigns. If we don't try to stop and reverse the current close outs that are happening, soon we won't have anywhere to go riding and that will be disastrous because riding dirt bikes is such an awesome sport and recreational past time to enjoy."

Watts also added, "We have been donating to BRC for many years now, and are very passionate about supporting the great work this organization does for all off-road enthusiasts. We encourage all of our students, and the many thousands of followers we have, to also support BRC by either joining, donating, or becoming involved in an action group."

"BRC is thrilled to have the backing of the DirtWise Academy and we can't thank them enough for their generosity.  Their ongoing support of BRC's efforts to save trails is just one of many examples of their commitment to the off-road enthusiast community," said Greg Mumm, Executive Director of the BlueRibbon Coalition.  "If there were an award for doing it right, Shane Watts and the DirtWise Academy of Offroad Riding Schools would certainly earn it."

The highly acclaimed DirtWise Academy of Offroad Riding schools are the leading off-road riding school in the US, with over 50 two days schools conducted nationwide that graduate close to 1000 students per year, while the industry leading DirtWise Offroad Instructional DVDs provide a very highly effective learning tool for all off-road riders both before and after they have attended a DirtWise school. Each student and follower of DirtWise is encouraged to contribute to BRC so as lands and trails have the best chance of remaining open for use.
