STOCKTON, CA (June 5, 2013) -- Motorized recreation is a great way to enjoy the scenic outdoors with family and friends, and no one knows this better than Family Off-Road Adventures, a  company in California that specializes in organizing just such activities. They have been supporters of the BlueRibbon Coalition (BRC) for many years, aiding us in our efforts to preserve public recreational access to public lands. Over the last five years, they raised almost $9,000; with this year's recent Yosemite event raising almost $1,500 by itself.

As their website states, "Family Off-Road Adventures is dedicated to creating the most enjoyable adventures possible! Our friendly and helpful staff goes 'above and beyond' to maximize your experience. When you ride with us it's like riding with family, because we are family!"

‬BRC would like to thank Family Off-Road Adventures, and all the many other organizations, businesses and individuals like them, who have kept us in the battle for recreational access for the last three decades. Grassroots support like this is our life-blood, and we cannot express enough our gratitude to those who have provided it for us.

Keep up the good work, Family Off-Road Adventures! We encourage everyone to check out their site online and, if you are in their neighborhood, take advantage of some of their awesome rides and events! They "specialize in working with beginner and novice riders that want to experience historically significant locations and areas of scenic beauty on two wheels!" Which sounds like just the kind of thing our members enjoy.

Not a day goes by at Sharetrails.org that we fail to discover another issue of access that could benefit from our involvement. Since we do not have unlimited resources we must prioritize. We do this by looking for issues in which we think we may play a useful role and are likely to prevail. There is a plethora of such issues out there and we’d really like to be able to get after more of them. If we are going to prove to the world of access advocacy that we are a force to be reckoned with we need to
