Daniel James Cox

Daniel was attending SDSU majoring in Environmental Engineering after graduating from Santana High School with the Class of 2004. While attending SHS, he was a member of the Water Polo and Swim teams. An avid off-road enthusiast, he constantly fought for balance between his hobbies and studies. Daniel's values: Respect and value each other. Recycle everything. Take care of the world. Preserve it to use and enjoy it. Don't abuse it.
Daniel is survived by his loving bother, Michael Cox (Chrissy) of Big Bear, California, who often enjoyed waiting while Daniel picked up trash on back-country trails; and his loving parents, Kelly Cox of Scripps Ranch and Farrell Cox of Santee.

A celebration of Daniel's life will be held at El Cajon Mortuary, 684 South Mollison Avenue, El Cajon, California 92020 at 2:00pm on Saturday, April 5, 2008.
In lieu of flowers, Daniel would be happier with donations to the BlueRibbon Coalition, to help promote responsible recreational land use.
