WYOMING - Shoshone National Forest to hold meeting on winter recreation use

On Wednesday, February 13, the Shoshone National Forest will hold a public meeting in Dubois, Wyoming, to discuss winter recreation use in the Two Ocean Mountain area of the Wind River Ranger District. As part of the Shoshone's forest plan revision process, this meeting is being held to discuss motorized and non-motorized winter recreation issues and concerns in the vicinity of Two Ocean Mountain.  The meeting will be held in the Dubois High School auditorium at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, February 13, 2013. On Wednesday, February 13, the Shoshone National Forest will hold a public meeting in Dubois, Wyoming, to discuss winter recreation use in the Two Ocean Mountain area of the Wind River Ranger District.

ARIZONA - Tonto NF Extends Comment Period for Travel Management Project DEIS
The Tonto National Forest has announced that the comment period for the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for the Travel Management Project, originally scheduled to end on August 18, 2014, has been extended to September 17, 2014.
