WYOMING - Shoshone National Forest to hold meeting on winter recreation use

On Wednesday, February 13, the Shoshone National Forest will hold a public meeting in Dubois, Wyoming, to discuss winter recreation use in the Two Ocean Mountain area of the Wind River Ranger District. As part of the Shoshone's forest plan revision process, this meeting is being held to discuss motorized and non-motorized winter recreation issues and concerns in the vicinity of Two Ocean Mountain.  The meeting will be held in the Dubois High School auditorium at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, February 13, 2013. On Wednesday, February 13, the Shoshone National Forest will hold a public meeting in Dubois, Wyoming, to discuss winter recreation use in the Two Ocean Mountain area of the Wind River Ranger District.

IDAHO - Next Phase of Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests Plan Revision Begins

WASHINGTON - FS Announce Results of the Sustainable Roads Public Meetings for Mt
The Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest is hosting a series of public results forms to share the data collected from the sustainable roads public outreach meetings held last summer. Participants helped identify forest roads that mattered to them. The Forest is in the process of creating a sustainable road strategy to maintain the forest road system within budget for safe travel, use, administration and resource protection.
