UTAH - BLM Announces Recreation Planning Meetings - The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Price Field Office has announced that there will be recreation planning meetings held at the BLM Price Field Office (125 S 600 W, Price, UT) on February 19, and March 13, 2013, at 6:00 p.m. During these meetings they will discuss travel management and recreation projects. As you may know, the Pacific Southwest Region (Region 5) of the U.S. Forest Service (FS) has started their environmental analysis under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) based on Subpart C of the Travel Management Rule. Yellowstone Opened to Limited Snowmobile Access With Non-commercially Guided Acc
On December 15, 2014 the gates opened to another season of snowmobile access to Yellowstone National Park. However, recent warm weather and limited snowfall resulted in very little snowpack on many of the park's interior roads. Until appreciable snowfall is received and conditions on the park's packed, groomed roads improves, snowmobile access to the Park will be limited (see Park Service News release).
